Today we celebrate the Retirement (Semi if you ask Brett) of our long standing Head Green Keeper, Brett Long.

Brett started his apprenticeship in this industry when he was only 18 years old and earnt $67 per week. ($13.10 which he spent each week on his caravan site fees where he lived and $10 per week on a good night out)

Brett has been here at the Bribie Island Bowls Club for 10 and a half years.

Brett you will be missed by all of our Members, visitors, Management Committee and Staff. We wish you the best of luck in your travels.
